A close friend's controlled buys off of him led to his arrest by Westnet, with six months of house arrest and a heavy fine, forcing introspection. This led to music, forming bonds with artists like Rappin 4 Tay, Coolio and Treach. At 27, after reconnecting with his childhood best friend, Nater Youngchild, Tom transitioned to legal consulting in the marijuana industry, eventually co-purchasing a marijuana farm, Rainier Organics, and evolving into Hitz Cannabis.
